About the Artist

Michelle, owner and creative director of ShortCakes, graduated from Engineering School but found her creative outlet in the crafts industry, spending hours sewing with her grandmother. Her talents were soon requested by friends for yummy custom cakes and handcrafted baby shower gifts. Michelle’s love of crafts soon guided her to open ShortCakes. Her crafts are now available online to a wider audience.

Each of Michelle’s custom products is handmade by Michelle herself, ensuring each of her baby items is well-made and will withstand the wear and tear of baby’s first few years.

“I want each customer to be 100% satisfied”, said Michelle. “They can contact me with any questions or concerns and I will personally respond.”
