Back-ordered Items: Occasionally, the item that you wish to purchase may be unavailable for a short period of time, due to its popularity. You may still purchase the merchandise; however, it will not ship out to you until the specified date that it becomes available. If an item is on backorder, a note will be included on the item page. If, for some unseen reason, this statement is not placed before we process your order, a ShortCakes representative will contact you via email.

Canceling an Order If for any reason you need to cancel an order, please email us at orders(at)ShortCakesgifts(dot)com. We will immediately cancel your order, provided it has not yet shipped. Personalized orders cannot be cancelled if the embroidery process has begun.

Payment Methods: We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Card, issued by a domestic U.S. bank, and Paypal for online purchases. The purchaser must have a billing and shipping address within the U.S. Orders are accepted for delivery within the 48 continental states, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico at this time. Payments are processed through a secure payment method. We at ShortCakes take security very seriously, and we carry an SSL certificate through our payment gateway for additional peace of mind.

Privacy Statement:ShortCakes will, at no time, sell or share customer information to any third party. As the owner of ShortCakes, I personally handle all steps of your transaction that deal with sensitive material.

Returns:ShortCakes will accept merchandise for returns within 30 days of the original date of purchase, provided that the merchandise is unworn, unused, has not been altered in any way, and still retains the hangtags (when applicable).

Any ShortCake item received as a gift will qualify for merchandise exchange.

Sorry, but personalized items can not be returned.

To process your return, please send merchandise that meets the above requirements, and include your order number, billing name, and address. For your protection, we recommend sending the package via insured, traceable mail (offered by UPS, USPS, and other carriers). Retain a tracking number to assure that the package is delivered successfully. Note that ShortCakes does not refund shipping and handling charges or accept any return deliveries where shipping has not been prepaid.

Sales Tax: ShortCakes follows state and federal laws regarding sales tax and is not required by law to collect sales tax on online purchases outside the State of Georgia. A 7% sales tax will be added to all orders with a “ship to” address in the state of Georgia.

Telephone Orders: We do not presently accept any phone orders – all merchandise is available through the website.
